A Landmark Achievement: President of TSMC Arizona
As President of TSMC Arizona, Brian was responsible for all aspects of the largest private foreign investment in U.S. history ($65B). His leadership was instrumental in taking the project from bare dirt to a fully operational, state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facility in less than four years.
- Oversaw the design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and ramp-up of the most technologically advanced fabrication facility in the United States
- Led the hiring and training of a world-class team of nearly 3,000 employees
- Directed the establishment of the entire supporting supply chain from Taiwan to Arizona
- Navigated complex government relations, secured support through the CHIPS Act, and forged critical workforce development partnerships with Arizona’s universities and community colleges
